Prawn Cocktail Seafood Sauce

Prepare this "kicked-up" cocktail sauce the next time you're having a shrimp or crab cocktail.

Ingredients:

1 cup jar red cocktail / seafood  sauce

1 rib fresh celery finely chopped

1 fresh scallion finely chopped

Prepared or fresh grated horse raddish to taste (1/2 to 1 tsp).

Combine all incredients, stir well, refrigerate 1 hour.  Serve with chilled or fried seafoods.

Happy New Year!!! Celebrating with a Rose'

Happy 2017 --- Celebrating the 1st day of the new year with a succulent prawn cocktail and broiled lobster dinner.  I chose the Gerard Bertrand 2015 "Cotes de Roses" Languedoc (Rose of Syrah & Granache) to accompany my feast and what a great choice it was!  Beautiful color, delicate nose and elegant flavors of citrus that highlighted and complimented the seafood perfectly.  Fresh, rounded finish made this wine a delight to pair with the meal as well as a stand alone aftern...
